CENTRAL AMERICA & CUBA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support Rev. Dr. Fernando Cascante, a professor of Christian education in Richmond, Virginia. During holidays and academic breaks Fernando works as a Christian education advisor in Central America and Cuba, coordinating events for pastors and leaders, leading workshops and teaching courses.
MALAWI
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... support Rev. Joel Sherbino, associate minister at St. Columba Church of Central Africa Presbyterian in Blantyre Synod. Joel preaches, leads a teaching series on Sunday nights, and visits people in their homes. He also works part time as ecumenical officer foe Blantyre Synod.
CANADA: Presbytery of Montreal
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support the Ecumenical Chaplaincy at McGill University in Montreal. University can be a difficult and stressful experience as students struggle with classes, relationships, jobs, family, identity, and life-choices. Chaplain Gwenda Wells is available for anyone who wants to talk from a faith, post-faith, or faith-seeking perspective.
CANADA: Our National Church Office
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... support the General Assembly office at our national church office. Staff members work together to offer a pastoral and administrative service to The Presbyterian Church in Canada.
JUSTICE MINISTRIES: Kairos
Through Presbyterians Sharing... we support KAIROS: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives. 2006-07 is the second year of the "Water -Life Before Profit" theme. We remind ourselves and our government that water is a sacred gift. Effective legislation is needed to ensure that Canadian corporations are held accountable for damages done to water sources at home and in other countries.

INDIA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... support associate missionaries Alan and Rosalle Howard at Woodstock Christian School in Mussoorie, North India. Alan is supervisor for two dormitories and Rosalle is a full-time residence staff person. they are also involved in dorm chapel services and run a weekly bible club for elementary-aged children.
GHANA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support Rev. Dr. Donald MacKay and Rev. Marion Barclay MacKay as they work with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at the Nsaba Lay Training Centre. They organize and teach courses for mature candidates entering the ministry, ministers, lay ministers, women, ecumenical guests and group leaders.
CANADA: Presbytery of Northern Saskatchewan
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... provide support for Saskatoon Native Circle Ministry. SNCM is in one of the busiest areas of Saskatoon, where the poorest population is located. Many of the clientele live on the streets. They are welcomed and invited to drop in for coffee, advice and prayers.
CANADA: Presbytery of Oak Ridges
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support St. John's Presbyterian Church in Bradford, ON. St. John's has been a Christian faith community since 1819. Today, St. John's is a growing congregation, worshipping in a building that was dedicated just two years ago. St. Johns exists to share the love of Christ through worship, education and service.

CANADA: Our National Church Office
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... support the work of Financial Services as it maintains the finances and
properties of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Seven staff people work hard to process funds, issue receipts
and reports, maintain estates, bequests and gift annuities, and oversee property.
ROMANIA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support Brian Johnston, an English and music teacher at the
Reformed Theological Seminary in Cluj, Romania. Brian directs a male choir of theological students which is
currently in Canada *until October 10) sharing the gospel and making personal connections with people in
Ontario and the Maritimes.
CANADA: Presbytery of Lindsay-Peterborough
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... provide support for the Open Door Cluster in Southwestern Ontario.
The cluster is made up of three rural churches with small congregations- Knox, Cannington; St. John's, Cresswell;
and Wick, Sunderland. These congregations maintain their individual identities while sharing their gifts with one
another in order to strengthen and unify their ministries.
MALWI
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support Rev. Joel Sherbino as he works with our partner church,
the Church in Central Africa, Presbyterian (CCAP). Joel is associate minister at St. Columba church and
ecumenical officer for Blantyre Synod.

CYPRUS/CANADA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support Makram Barsoum as he works with SAT - 7, a
multiple-partner project providing a Christian satellite television services to people in the Middle East and North
Africa. Makram has helped to establish SAT - 7 Canada, a program that supports SAT - 7 International broadcasts
and brings them to a Canadian audience.
TAIWAN
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support Rev. Murray Garvin, an English teacher at Yu Shan
Theological College and Seminary in Taiwan. Y Shan is run by the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, and provides
training for aboriginal leaders for the church and society.
CANADA: Presbytery of Essex Kent
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support Kent Regional Alternative Ministry (KRAM) in Duart
Village, ON. KRAM's mandate is to offer innovative monthly alternative worship events drawing youth and adults
from the north shore communities of Lake Erie.
CANADA: Presbytery of St. John
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support the University of New Brunswick's campus ministry in
Fredericton, NB. Chaplain Joanne Barr sees campus ministry as a way of forming meaningful relationships. It is
about being a listening ear, a sounding-board, a surrogate parent, a guide, a pastor in times of need. It is about
being the church in the university community.

INDIA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support Pauline Brown, a community health nurse working with
the Church of North India. Within the towns and villages where people are very much in need, Pauline works
with professional nurses in community programs and trains illiterate village women who, in turn, pass on their
learning to others.
UKRAINE
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support David P?ndy-Szekeres as he works with the Reformed
Church of the Sub-Carpathian Ukraine (RCCU)> As Supervisor of External Missions and Development Officer of
Schools, David coordinates a team of 12 trained missionaries who are involved in diverse tasks in diverse
locations.
CANADA: Presbytery of Vancouver Island
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support West Shore Presbyterian Church in Victoria, BC. The
church is located on the western outskirts of Victoria, in an area that has the lowest church to population ration in
all of BC. The surrounding communities are scheduled for major growth in the coming decade.
CANADA: Presbytery of Northern Saskatchewan
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support the University of Saskatchewan's Ecumenical Chaplaincy.
The chaplaincy provides support and counselling to students during times of need, and forms relationships with
those seeking Christian connections.

NICARAGUA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... support Denise Van Wissen, a nutritionalist working with SOYNICA in
Nicaragua. After seven years working with SOYNICA's northern branch, Denise returned to its headquarters in
Managua in 2006. She now works with the newly-formed Information, Education and Communication department
as part of a team of four.

Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... support the work of International Ministries as it enables The
Presbyterian Church in Canada to actively participate in the worldwide mission of Jesus Christ through the
formation, nurturing and strengthening of partnerships with churches and agencies internationally.

CAMEROON
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support Sean Allison, an associate missionary in Cameroon, Africa. Sean and his wife Lezlie are involved in language analysis and development, literacy and translation for one of the 270 languages of this country. They are currently working to translate sections of the Christmas story.
NICARAGUA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... support the work of David Villalonga, a veterinarian working with the Association of Young Christians in Nicaragua. David is working to educate farmers through workshops on topics such as nutrition, improvement of milk quality, environmental preservation and disease prevention in cattle.
CANADA: Presbytery of Montreal
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support Concordia University's Ecumenical Chaplaincy in Montreal. Rev. Ellie Hummel works as part of this multi-faith chaplaincy to promote understanding among faith groups and to help students strengthen their faith while living respectfully in a multi-faith world.
CANADA: Presbytery of West Toronto
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support the Spanish ministry at North Park Presbyterian Church in Toronto. One of the church's ministries is to new immigrants, who are offered pastoral care, immigration and settlement programs, settlement services, medical doctor referrals and general process information. Many have joined the Presbyterian family at North Park!

NIGERIA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...help support Arlene Onuoha as she works with the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria (PCN) as Administrative Secretary and Finance Officer of the National Directorate of Missions (NDM). The NDM is working to restructure and expand so that it will include more areas of Nigeria.
TAIWAN
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...help support Associate missionary Michael Tai, a professor at Chungshan Medical University in Taiwan where he teaches biomedical ethics and medical humanities. He feels called to share the gospel with his students, and some have started attending the Students' Christian Fellowship as a result.
CANADA: Presbytery of West Toronto
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...help support Toronto's Boarding Homes Ministry. Church visitors meet with residents of the boarding homes for worship, which takes place in small groups. As friends gather together, barriers are broken down and care and compassion are extended by both the residents of the boarding homes and by the visitors.
JUSTICE MINISTRIES: World Alliance of Reformed Churches
Through Presbyterians Sharing...help us participate in international, ecumenical action for justice. The 131st General Assembly (June 2005) commended for study the document "Covenanting for Justice in the Economy and the Earth". By studying this document, Presbyteries, agencies and committees of the church will join with churches witness for economic justice and care for the earth.

KENYA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...support Dr. Richard (Rick) Allen, a community health physician working
with the Presbyterian Church of East Africa in Kenya in the area of HIV/AIDS. "Trainer of Trainers" (TOTs)
attend a one-month course in HIV/AIDS prevention, and then train community AIDS educators who create awareness of
HIV/AIDS within their communities and churches.
ROMANIA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...support Mary Gorombey as she works with the Bonus Pastor Foundation
(BPF) in Cluj, Romania. BPF provides treatment and aftercare for alcoholics, addicts and their families. Mary also
works with Koinonia Publishers, a Reformed publishing ministry.
CANADA: Presbytery of Montreal
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...help support Tyndale-St.Georges Community Centre, a non-profit
organization that offers educational, cultural, social and recreational programs to the Little Burgundy community of
inner-city Montreal. Its goal is to help individuals and families to live lives of greater self-reliance and fulfillment.
CANADA: Presbytery of Oak Ridges
Through Presbyterians Sharing...help support Keswick Presbyterian Church in Keswick, Ontario. Keswick has been
blessed by a music program made up of talented singers and musicians who share in the ministry of music. The music
program allows those of all ages to share their gifts.

Through Presbyterians Sharing...support Ministry and Church Vocations (MCV) at our national office.
Through education, research and communication, MCV seeks to offer caring, competent and appropriate support to

of Knox, Cochrane; St. John's, Kapuskasing; St. Andres's, Kirkland Lake; and MacKay, Timmins. The ministry
team consists of a regional minister as well as lay leaders and ministers who lead worship services when the
regional minister is elsewhere.

GUYANA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...help support Rev. Ian Shaw as he works with our
partner church, the Guyana Presbyterian Church. Ian is serving as minister in the Upper Coretyne
Parish where he preaches, presides over celebrations of the Sacraments, provides counselling
and care for parishioners and moderates the sessions of congregations in the parish. He will also
teach subjects as required by the Board of the Formation of Ministry and Mission. As we continue
to support Presbyterians Sharing... let us pray for the mission and ministry of Ian Shaw.
GUYANA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...support Linda Shaw as she works with our partner
church, the Guyana Presbyterian Church. Linda is working to establish a Christian education
program for the church. She is also serving as a resource person for the Formation for Ministry
and Mission program in the area of Christian education, and providing guidance for the National
Women's Organization of the Guyana Presbyterian Church. As we give to Presbyterians
Sharing...let us pray for the mission and ministry of Linda Shaw in Guyana.
CANADA: Presbytery of Peace River
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...support North Peace Territorial Ministry in Alberta. The
ministry is made up of Strang Presbyterian Church in Dixonville and North Peace Korean
Presbyterian Church in North Peace. The ministry converses approximately 47,000 square kilometres
in Northwestern Alberta. Rev. Joanne Kim travels a great deal from the central point of Dixonville,
holding morning services at Strang church, afternoon services at the North Peace Korean church,
visiting nursing homes and parish members in both parishes. As we support Presbyterians
Sharing...Le us pray for Joanne and North peace Territorial Ministry.
CANADA: Presbytery of Montreal
Through Presbyterians Sharing...we support Montreal Presbyterian Bible Church, which
reaches out to Chinese people who have emigrated to Montreal from Mainland China. The church
provides support to new immigrants in a warm and secure environment. This has not been an
easy ministry. Attendance is small but growing as people become more aware of the church in
their community. Several people feel that their lives have been transformed due to this ministry.
As we give to Presbyterians Sharing...let us pray for the Montreal Presbyterian Bible
Church, that it might continue to transform lives as it ministers to the Chinese community in
Montreal.

Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... support the work of Kim Arnold and Bob Anger in the
Presbyterian Church Archives office. Kim and Bob work to collect, preserve and make available to
researchers the significant collections of records generated by our Church, its officials, ministers,
congregations and organizations.
JUSTICE MINISTERS
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing... help support KAIROS: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives.
The theme of the 2005-06 program is "Water--Life Before Profit." In this program we remind ourselves and
our government that water is a sacred gift, and that the value of water to the common good must take

TAIWAN
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...help support Rev. Paul McLean, a Bible translation consultant working with the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan and the Bible Society in Taiwan. Paul is working with a Hakka translation team to ensure that their Hakka translation of the Bible is a good reflection of the Hebrew original.
GUATEMALA
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...help support Ken Kim as he works with the Evangelical Centre for Pastoral Studies in Central America (CEDEPCA). Ken is designing a program called Diakonia to offer support and solidarity during times of emergency. Once the program is approved, Ken will be responsible for its implementation.
CANADA: Presbytery of Montreal
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...help support Action Refuges Montreal, a ministry that is vital to the lives of refugees who flee war, abuse, persecution and other terrors in their homelands. It is a ministry that seeks to challenge the goverments and the public to create a just and compassionate society.
CANADA: Presbytery of Hamilton
Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing...help support many chaplaincies in universities across Canada. Rev. Carol Wood is the Presbyterian chaplain at McMaster University's campus ministry, which offers a friendly space fro students on a secular campus to meet and discuss faith issues.
