What is the Rotational Model?The Rotational Model concentrates on the major stories of the Bible over and over again. The same lesson is taught in a four or five week rotation through various activities such as crafts, games, drama, music, cooking and so on. This approach re-enforces the story through repetition and takes advantage of each child's gifts through the 7 multi-intelligences: - Word-Smart: Read about it, write about it, talk about it, and listen to it.
- Number Smart: Quantify it, conceptualize it, and think critically about it.
- Picture Smart: See it, draw it, visulaize it, color it, mind_map it, symbolize it>
- Body Smart: Act it out, dance it, build it, touch it.
- Music Smart: Sing it, rap it, play it, listen it.
- People Smart: Teach it, discuss it, collaborate on it, and interact with respect to it.
- Self Smart: Think about it, connect it to one's personal life, and make choices regarding it.
