COFFEE TIME

There is a good feeling
that I get meeting and greeting people at Church on Sundays, but, there are so many that come and go that you don't get the opportunity to speak to.
At some point in time it
was decided to have a coffee hour after the Service on Sunday and then people would have more of a chance to converse and greet others in a social atmosphere. It works, that is as long as people stay after Church for a while, and as long as someone makes the coffee.
Hosting coffee hour
doesn't take a whole lot of preparation and certainly no need for any expense, since the coffee and cream and cold drink mix are provided.
I personally think that it
is a great way to enjoy the fellowship that is always there, except that some Sundays there is no Coffee hour because no one signs up to do it.

If you have never done it
before and you think you would like to take a turn call me and I'll help you, or just pick a date and sign on the dotted line on the list which is on the bulletin board at the entrance to the Upper Hall .
Incidentally, I'm writing
this while I'm having my -- morning coffee.

Christmas in Heaven
I see the countless Christmas trees
Aroung the world below,
With tiny lights like Heaven's stars
Reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular,
Please wipe away that tear,
For I'm spending Christmas
With Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs
That people hold so dear,
But the sounds of music can't compare
With the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you
The joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description
To hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me,
I see the pain inside your heart,
But I am not so far away,
We really aren't apart.
So be happy for me, dear ones,
You know I hold you dear,
And be glad I'm spending Christmas
With Jesus Christ this year.
I send you each a special gift
From my heavenly home above,
I send you each a memory
Of my undying love.
After all "Love" is a gift
More precious than pure gold.
It was always most important
In the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other
As my Heavenly Father said to do,
For I can't count the blessings
Or love He has for each of you,
So have a Merry Christmas,
And wipe away that tear,
Remember, I'm spending Christmas
With Jesus Christ this year.
